Half Marathon Class

Meets Saturday at 8:00am
This is a 12 week training program designed for those looking to learn proper training for the half marathon. Whether you are looking to run a half for the first time or are looking to improve your performance time, this is the class for you! The class meets once a week to run as a group in various locations in close proximity to the store and address the weekly subject topic. These topics include and are not limited to nutrition, hydration, stretching, strength training, equipment, form training, and pacing. Every participant will receive a training log to record the weekly training requirements. Any issues, concerns, and guidance will be addressed as a whole on Saturday mornings when the group meets. Graduation will be held at The St. Luke's Half Marathon at the end of the 12 weeks. Although participation in The St. Luke's Half Marathon is not required, it is strongly encouraged that you register for the race to accomplish your goal!
Requirements: Participants should be able to run comfortably most days of the week for at least 1 hour.
